Thank you to the many parents who volunteer their time during the school lunch hour. Your commitment to the program gives our faculty a much appreciated opportunity to enjoy their lunch hour as well as attend to other issues that arise during the school day. If you find you are unable to meet your scheduled slot, please remember to secure a substitute.
LUNCH-RECESS SCHEDULE
Kindergarten
11:30 Lunch, 12:05-12:25 Recess
Grades 3,4,5,6
11:45 Recess, 12:05-12:25 Lunch
Grades 1and 2
12:05 Recess, 12:25-12:45 Lunch
(enter cafeteria through gym doors)
Please check-in through the front office, and carry a watch, whistle, and fanny pack. If you end your lunch shift in the cafeteria, the teacher will retrieve her class from there. Make sure you bring your belongings to exit through the office.
All volunteers are kindly asked to wipe their class tables, “trash” any food under or around the tables, and push the chairs under the tables before leaving the cafeteria.
Please do not send children who forget their lunch for hot lunch. His/her classmates will graciously share some part of their “feast.”
